Destructible
perception is a new series of painting which is, with added damage to the
construction, an invitation to re-evaluate historical construction through
own aesthetics and perceptions.
The subject of the series is a visually beautiful historical construction regardless of its importance or roll in the history. It aims to question people's own aesthetics and their approaches to stereotype by adding site changing damage(s) to the well-preserved building in a painting. However the feeling that painting provokes is carefully maintained in the same manner which is calm, collected and dignified as the original construction is wrapped around with.
